The Tata Steel UK Safety, Health and Environment app is for anyone working on or visiting a Tata Steel UK site.
All users can access all the functionality described below, however certain news items may require a Tata Steel logon and several functions rely on allowing the app to use GPS.What can you do with this app?The app offers the following functions that contribute to safety on Tata Steel sites and of our product during transportation:Tata Steel map - A map displaying Ambulance Meeting Points, Roll Call or Muster Points and the locations of defibrillators on Tata Steel sites.
It is important to know where to go in the event of an incident for access to the emergency services or a defibrillator (GPS is required to indicate your location relative to the Pin).Call the relevant site emergency number - If an accident or incident takes place on a Tata Steel site, you should immediately call the site emergency number.
With this app, the relevant site’s emergency number is selected by your location (GPS is required) and you can call it directly from the app using the red button.
The nearest arrival location is also shown immediately allowing you to inform the control room when making the call.Read Health, Safety and Environmental news - Links to news articles, updates and bulletins can be accessed from the app, although some of these may require a Tata Steel Logon.Access Health and Wellbeing information and support – Static links to key information and support relating to Health and Wellbeing can be accessed directly from the app, some links may require a Tata Steel Logon.Access Site Safety Information and Directions – A map displays the UK and Ireland Tata Steel sites with links to detailed site direction information and where available site safety information and site maps with key locations indicated.Access Load Restraint Guides – Direct access to the safety information required for transporting our products safely.
